Great Greek Minds
Some of the greatest minds of greece came out of these education systems (Not just Sparta, and Athens, but all over Greece), and with these minds they crafted all sorts of ideas, from Archimedes’ Screw, to the Heron’s Formula, these great minds have contributed to Philosophy, Literature, Mathematics, and Geometry. But if we were going to write all the Greek inventions, and theories it would take a long time so instead we’ll set our focus on geometry. Some of the simplest things we don’t even think about today were huge breakthroughs back then, like if we wanted to weigh an orange we would just put it on a scale, and done you have the weight of your orange, but back then it was such a big deal, Archimedes who figured out how to weight things with water was so excited that he forgot to put his clothes on before running down the streets with his discovery, people also claim that Aristotle invented the lever, they would be wrong, although Aristotle did record the first writings about levers. Heron’s Formula was another contribution from Greece it was written by The Heron of Alexandria (Born 10 years AD), most of the Heron’s works are not found but some like The Heron’s Formula, and The Heron’s Methead were found. Archimedes also found out the volume of the sphere.

Archimedes was a mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor, and astronomer. Not much other than this was known about him.

He was one of the main 3 Philosophers that were in Ancient Greece.

Plato was one of the 3 main Philosophers in Ancient Greece. He also strongly believed in the gods and spirits as we see him point up to the sky mentioning the gods. This is a cropped photo of Plato from Raphael's painting: "The School of Athens"
